Wedding of Peter Phillips, 2008

Happy 10th Anniversary to Peter and Autumn Phillips, who got married on this day in 2008, at St. George’s Chapel, Windsor, where Prince Harry will marry Meghan Markle in a few days. The Queen’s eldest grandchild and his Canadian bride have two daughters, and are frequently seen at family events.

The wedding of Peter Phillips and Autumn Kelly (wearing Princess Anne’s Festoon Tiara) took place at St. George’s Chapel, Windsor, and was followed by a Reception at Frogmore House. Almost the entire Royal Family was in attendance, with the occasion being the setting for the first meeting between the Queen and the now Duchess of Cambridge.

  1. It’s been 10 years already! And by all accounts they’re still very happy together. I was sort of disappointed that Prince Harry and Ms Markle didn’t ask one of their daughters to be a bridesmaid. Of all the bridesmaids and pages, only Prince George and Princess Charlotte are family, the rest are children of friends. But then I guess if you ask Savannah and not Isla and Mia then you’re in trouble!

    1. I would have liked to see all three, or at least Mia, but I feel the bridal party after G&C and all the godchildren is already too large! Maybe it’s for the best!

      1. I agree. After all the drama with Ms. Markle’s father, sister, and brother, I am simply hoping for a nice, dignified ceremony where they can get married in peace and move on!
