Queen Elizabeth II (wearing Queen Alexandra’s Kokoshnik Tiara) and the Duke of Edinburgh attend a Banquet given with the British Ambassador to Portugal at the Palace of Queluz in Lisbon on this day in 1957, during their State Visit to Portugal. The Banquet was followed by a Gala Performance at the São Carlos National Theatre.
