In the evening, the Duke wore Black Tie. The Duchess wore the Erdem ‘Stephanie’ gown with Princess Diana’s Collingwood Pearl Earrings and Pearl Bracelet. Crown Princess Victoria wore a black Stylein dress with cluster earrings. Prince Daniel wore Black Tie.
I think the Duchess looks absolutely fabulous, even when she’s playing hockey! The yellow dress she wore to the dinner is so luxurious! I really liked CP Victoria’s dress when they met the King and Queen at the palace, but not so much the black dress she wore to the dinner. I think that dress tries to be too many things at the same time, I dunno. The men, of course, looked very dashing in their black tie! 🙂
I agree with your view on Victoria’s outfits, and feel that the evening one needed to be longer and then it could quite nice!
Yes, I agree that the length should be longer, especially for a black tie evening affair, and very especially so with those shoes. I think the dress would also benefit from a more tapered sleeve. I think the CP usually dresses very nicely and with very good taste, but I’m afraid I’m going to pass on this one!
