In the evening, the Queen (wearing her Turquoise Daisy Bandeau & pieces from her modern Turquoise parure) attended a state banquet hosted by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo at the Accra International Conference Center. Both the Queen and President gave speeches.
I think Queen Margrethe is looking so very nice during this visit. Pink is such a happy color, and especially if you’re visiting a colorful, tropical country like Ghana. The Turquoise Bandeau tiara with elements of her turquoise parure were excellent choices for the dinner as well, bringing just the right amount of sparkle and color to the evening.
