During the launch event, which takes place in Hintze Hall beneath the blue whale, the Duchess of Cambridge met Sir Michael Dixon and Sir David Attenborough, toured some of the new Wonder Bays including the blue marlin, where she met the curators and heard about ocean ecology and conservation, a subject of particular interest for her. After giving a speech, the Duchess watched a musical performance in the hall, before attending a short reception.

  1. This outfit is fabulous on the Duchess! She needs to have it repeated in different colors, it really suits her. Her shorter hair makes her look more sophisticated too. She looked quite fetching!
