The Queen and Duke of Cambridge met members of the emergency services, volunteers, local residents and community representatives when they visited Westway Sports Centre, a temporary relief centre for the victims of the Grenfell Tower fire. The Queen has paid tribute to the “bravery” of firefighters the “incredible generosity” of volunteers now offering support.

The Queen wore a bright blue coat and hat, pairing her customary Three Strand Pearl Necklace with the City of London Lily Brooch, worn for the first time in over five years. The Duke of Cambridge wore a dark suit with a mauve tie.
