Polar Music Prize 2017

The Swedish Royal Family attended the 2017 Polar Music Prize at the Konserthuset in Stockholm on June 15th. On e of the most prestigious music awards, King Carl Gustaf annually presents the prize to musicians in a variety of genres from around the world. 2017’s winners were Sting and Wayne Shorter

King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia were accompanied by Crown Princess Victoria, Prince Daniel, Prince Carl Philip, Princess Madeleine, and Princess Christina as they attended the 2017 Polar Music Prize, where the King presented the awards.

King Carl XVI Gustaf wore Black Tie. Queen Silvia wore a floral gown with her three strand pearl necklace with a topaz clasp and topaz earrings. Crown Princess Victoria wore a bespoke Diana Orving one-shouldered metallic gown with new Engelbert Stockholm twist earrings. Prince Daniel wore Black Tie.

Prince Carl Philip wore Black Tie. Princess Madeleine wore an Ida Sjöstedt floral skirt with a white blouse and statement earrings. Princess Christina wore a pale pink dress with a long pearl necklace.

  1. I love seeing Crown Princess Victoria with her hair down! Most times I really like for the ladies to have their hair up so that I can admire their jewels, but CP Victoria so rarely wear her hair down that this is indeed a treat! It really becomes her. And Princess Madeline’s dress is absolutely lovely!
