The Queen hosted a reception for Female Government Permanent Secretaries at the Queen’s Gallery in Buckingham Palace. The Reception celebrated the women who have led government departments UK Civil Service since 1955. The Queen met permanent secretaries past and present celebrating female leadership in the government.

The Queen wore a white dress with blue lace overlay, pairing her customary Three Strand Pearl Necklace with Prince Albert’s Sapphire Brooch.
