In honour of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s attendance at the 2017 EE BAFTAs yesterday, we flashback to the Princess Royal presenting the a BAFTA to Francesca Annis for her part in ‘The Comedy of Errors’ on March 23rd, 1979. The Princess Royal was the President of BAFTA from 1972 to 2001, taking over from Lord Mountbatten.
