Scandinavian Royalty at Persepolis, 1971


King Frederik and Queen Ingrid of Denmark  (wearing the Danish Pearl Poiré Parure) were joined by their son-in-law and daughter, King Constantine and Queen Anne Marie of Greece (in the Greek Emerald Parure), cousin, King Olav V of Norway, and nephew, Crown Prince Carl Gustav of Sweden at the spectacular Banquet hosted by the Shah of Iran and Empress Farah to celebrate the 2500th Anniversary of the Persian Empire at Persepolis in 1971, followed by a traditional Persian Dinner.
