On Day 15th, August 19th, of the Rio 2016 Olympics, Crown Prince Frederik attended a handball match and congratulated the Danish team on their 15th medal.

Crown Prince Frederik watched the handball final between Denmark and France, and later gave an interview after the Danish team won its second gold medal. The Crown Prince also congratulated the Danish team for winning 15 gold medals during the 2016 Rio Olympics.
