On Day 11, August 16th, of the 2016 Rio Olympics, members of the Dutch and Danish Royal families were pictured at sporting events. Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark was pictured with athletes, while the Dutch royal family were seen at a sporting event.

Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark posed in front of Anne -Marie Rindom, who had received a bronze medal for Denmark. He also posed with Danish cyclist Annika Langvard during her practice on August 16th. King Willem Alexander and Queen Maxima were pictured with their daughters at the show jumping event, where the Dutch team failed.
