Queen at Honourable Artillery Company

The Queen visited the Honourable Artillery Company in London on the 1st of June, to unveil a bronze bronze bust of herself commissioned to honor her as the longest serving Captain General of the Company. Also present were Prince and Princess Michael of Kent, Prince Michael is the Royal Honorary Colonel.

The new bronze bust of the Queen features her wearing Queen Alexandra’s Kokoshnik Tiara with the Nizam of Hyderabad Necklace, and the insignia of the Order of the Garter.

HM wore a floral dress and a blue coat with her customary Three Strand Pearl Necklace and Queen Mary’s Russian Brooch, a wedding gift to the Queen’s grandmother in 1893 from, her aunt-in-law, the Empress of Russia.

Prince Michael wore the uniform of the Honourable Artillery Company. Princess Michael wore a red coat and white hat with large pearl earrings.
