Garden Party at Buckingham Palace

HM Queen Elisabeth II held a Garden party at Buckingham Palace on the afternoon of May 24th. This was the Queen’s last Garden Party held at Buckingham Palace this Season. The Queen will host a Garden Party at Holyrood Palace in Edinburgh later this summer. HM was accompanied by members of the British Royal family.

The Queen was joined by the Duke of Edinburgh, Duke & Duchess of Cambridge, Princesses Beatrice & Eugenie, The Duke & Duchess of Gloucester, and The Duke of Kent. This was the first time the Duke of Cambridge has attended a Garden Party at Buckingham Palace. He previously attended a Garden party at the Palace of Holyroodhouse in 2002.

The Queen wore a blue outfit by Stewart Parvin and a hat by Rachel Trevor-Morgan. She also wore her customary Three Strand Pearl Necklace and a new Diamond and Pearl Navette Brooch. The Duke of Edinburgh wore morning dress with a grey top hat. The Duchess of cambridge repeated the cream Alexander McQueen outfit worn to Prince George’s christening with a Jane Taylor hat. She also wore her Annoushka pearl drop earrings.The Duke of Cambridge wore black morning dress with a pink patterned tie.

Princess Beatrice wore a black and white patterned dress. Princess Eugenie wore a white dress with multicolored patterns and an orange hat.  The Duchess of Gloucester wore a sky blue coat and hat, with a grey pearl necklace and floral diamond clips. The Dukes of Kent and Gloucester wore morning dress with top hats.
